About us
Ankita Jain's route to a production house ran through nearly every world its work touches. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant and earned an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, then spent years in sales and marketing at Britannia and Tetra Pak, seeing brands and audiences from the inside. While working in Bangalore, she also co-founded and ran a theatre company alongside her corporate job.
She left the corporate world for an MA in Screen Acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, worked as an actor in London, and then returned to India to make her own work. She now acts and directs across films, advertisements and theatre, and that breadth shapes the work the house takes on.
Tail Tale Productions, named after her dog, Bagheera, is where those worlds meet. Its work spans advertisements, short films, microdramas, microfilms and theatre, including the plays The Haber Dilemma and Enough.
